All of our full day brides get an engagement session in their package. Engagement sessions are a great way for us to connect and get to know each other before your big day arrives! We'll get a good chance to get comfortable and get all of the jitters out before the big day. This will make your wedding day pictures a piece of cake! Think of this as our first date.

As soon or as late as you want. Most people I work with have their engagement sessions six months to a year before they get married. This gives you plenty of time to get anything printed for save the dates, wedding signage etc.
when should we schedule our engagement session?
Do I need a second shooter?
This depends - For an intimate wedding I say no. But I think a second is extremely valuable for anything over six hours.
I do for anything more than 30 miles outside of the Chicago zip code 60655. Travel is assessed on a case by case basis. Especially for destination weddings!
